K8IROS 8.1 – Crypto

This K8IROS 8.1 x Kickasso collaboration is inspired by Spencer Dinwiddie’s interest in the world of cryptocurrency. The artwork features the phrase “HODL,” a slang term in Bitcoin culture that means to stay invested and not fold in the face of plunging prices. Determination in the face of adversity — essential in the crypto community and on the basketball court.

This shoe was imagined by Spencer Dinwiddie for the January 29, 2019 game, when the Brooklyn Nets played the Chicago Bulls at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
